Ellissa Lankford started working in the art department for short film in June 2022 at Full Sail University. This leap of faith was just the beginning to a so-far extraordinary story.

After participating in several student films, she graduated in May of 2023 with her Bachelor of Science in Film. Since then, she has gone on to spend a season with the Walt Disney Company in their Holiday Decoration Services department, and aftewards joined Adirondack Scenic Studios, before returning to Disney's Holiday Services team.

In her time with ADKS, Ellissa loaned her artistic talents to the Disney cruise ship Treasure, Tiana's Bayou Adventure in Magic Kingdom, Test Track in Epcot, and both the Ministry of Magic and Isle of Berk portals at Universal Studio's Epic Universe.
She prides herself on being a hands-on learner, and truly enjoys getting right into the middle of a project and getting her hands dirty. She always jokes that if she walks away from a job without any paint on herself or her clothes, it wasn't a productive day.

She always invests every part of herself in what she creates, using every skill she knows to craft something that she can truly be proud of. She doesn't take the work she's given lightly, and truly enjoys every moment that she's given.

Ellissa hopes that her designs are evidence of her passion and love for the art department – and art in general – and that they show the time and patience it takes to take a director's vision and make it a reality.
